When you or a family member wakes up sick, what do you do? Most of us call our doctor.

But what if you don’t have a doctor? What if you already owe the hospital for a past emergency room visit? What if you miss one more day of work, you’ll be fired?

This is reality right here in our community for more than 25,000 people. Compassionate contributions have helped Volunteers in Medicine, Chattanooga’s faith-based, free primary care clinic provide crucial care - through an incredibly challenging year.
