System Support Specialist

Chattanooga Business Machines is seeking polished individuals who can thrive in a fast paced environment to install our award winning products. You will be responsible for delivery, install and networking digital multi-functional devices, (digital copiers, printers, color devices, software) at customer locations throughout the Chattanooga area. Training will be provided.

Qualifications:

• High degree of initiative and self-motivation

• Skilled in organization, attention to detail and effective prioritization of duties

• Ability to work independently, with and without direction, and as part of a team

• Positive attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Working knowledge/understanding of computers and operating systems

• Ability to set-up and test printers

• A+ and/or NET+certifications desired

• High School/GED diploma

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test equipment prior to delivery

• Safely load/unload heavy equipment using company truck with power lift gate/electric stair climbers

• Evaluate installation site for proper power, network and ventilation requirements

• Accurately communicate with customers and service team to maximize machine features

• Learn networking and copier basics to advance

• Maintain tool kit, supplies, and accurate inventory

• Troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions

• Provide sales support as required

• Accurate completion of invoices and expense reports in a timely manner

 

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance

• Acceptable DMV record

• Professional attitude, manners and appearance
