Little Big Shot: 40" Aquos Interactive Whiteboard

Sharp just released a smaller version of the popular AQUOS BOARD. This board arrived just in time for a local Chattanooga school who had just asked for a smaller version to accompany the large AQUOS they already have in place in one of their classrooms.

This 40" display has all the interactivity of the much larger 80" board, just in a smaller size.

“This series targets environments that have limited space requirements for either interactive signage or interactive collaboration applications, and are suitable for virtually any industry and organization size.”

Gary Bailer, Director of Product Planning and Marketing for Pro AV Products at Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America.

The AQUOS BOARD is all the rage. Teachers have been using them as quickly as schools will incorporate them into their budget. Businesses have grabbed the technology and make their meetings more engaging. However, what about small businesses limited on space?

This new 40" interactive display system serves multiple purposes, like the bigger interactive whiteboards do. For signage retail environments, it’s an “information interface to enhance the consumer experience”. “For offices, it enables interactive collaboration and productivity in the increasingly popular “huddle space” environment”.

Other great features carried over from the larger Aquos boards placed inside the 40” include:

Sharp Pen-on-Paper User Experience- The screen “resists fingerprints and scratches” while also being an anti-glare surface. Capacitive touch technology with its 2 mm-tip touch pen.

Engaged Presentations- Create work plans, highlight key topics, annotate files, share marked-up documents, and print hard copies. You can use one finger or the pen to open/close documents, shrink/enlarge images and with two fingers, you can rotate a images. Microsoft Office and PowerPoint presentations plays nice with Sharp Aquos board, as well. With the Sharp Pen Software application you receive a built in library of backgrounds to use during presentations.

10- point multi-touch functionality- This feature allows up to four people to write on the screen at the same time using touch pens or fingers. This allows for active brainstorming sessions, meetings, classroom interactions, and more. And since it is a smaller, more manageable size, it will conveniently sit on a table with a detachable tabletop stand.
